Have you ever had an etching done on a new dental crown?

I have one because, just by chance, I asked the dentist if it were possible. He said that people sometimes ask for hearts. Mine is a cute little amphibian.

We call them tattoos at our office. I've seen some hearts, butterflies and my favorite was a dragonfly because it was so detailed.
