Once a dental implant crown has been placed, is it possible to go back and have the sides sanded down if they?

seem too wide? Will it knock the crown loose or leave a gritty feel to the crown? (Just got the crown placed 5 days ago. Was hoping to get used to it, but it bows out too far into my cheek and my tongue. Is this easy to fix? Should I wait a month til the crown adheres really well?)

It could be that you're just not used to having it there...

If it is too big, you should have said something before it was cemented in permanently. Having the crown filed down at this point will only remove the glaze that's on it, and possibly fracture some of the porcelain.

Try to get used to it... maybe it really isn't that bad.

~Good luck.
