If your pharmacy doesn't have temporary dental cement, try a little petroleum jelly (Vaseline). It may hold it in place until you can get to the dentist.
BTW, it shouldn't cost you anything to have your dentist re-attached the crown unless it's one he/she didn't do.
What do i do if my dental crown comes out?
better go back to the dentist..
Reply:see if it will fit back on and stay on until you can get to a dentist.
This might be the difference between salvaging that one and having to buy a new one.
good luck!
Reply:hold on to it and try to go to the dentist a.s.a.p.
Reply:Try to get an appointment with your dentist asap so he can put the crown back on, otherwise bacteria can get into the space where the crown fell out.If you can't get to the dentist, there is a glue sold in the drug stores(in Canada anyways)specifically for gluing your crowns back on. Just saw some last week in The Guardian drugstore. Goodluck.
P.S.
The glue is just a temporary solution until you can get to a dentist.
