Dental Bill?

I need help with my dental bill. I got a crown and 3 fillings completed the same day. Am I being overcharged? Composite Filling 4 - Surface Posterior Tooth 29 DOLB is 250.00. Composite Filling 3 - Surface Posterior Tooth 30 MOD is 220.00. Composite Filling 1 - Surface Posterior Tooth 28 O is 125.00. Prefab Post %26amp; Core in Addition to Crown tooth 31 is 225.00. Porcelain Fused To Gold Crown Tooth 31 is 850.00. Crown Lengthening Tooth 31 is 250.00 and Intraoral Periapical - First Film is 25.00. For a grand total of 1,945.00. AM I BEING OVERCHARGED? Please help! Thank you in advance.

Where are you? What is the currency you're quoting?
Reply:No, that sounds fairly common.


Being overcharged is relative.


They itemized everything that occurred, and


it all has a price. Just because it happened at the


same time, does not preclude its being charged.


Dental stuff is very expensive, and they make it where


you can't really shop around. But, what you can do is


ask family and friends if they've had similar stuff done, and what were the charges. Some dentists are cheaper than others.
