Dental Question- about temporary crowns???

I have a temporary crown and it kinda popped off today. Since it's friday, I can't get into the dentist until Monday, will it be okay until then. Anything I can do about it?

Dental Question- about temporary crowns???
Place some toothpaste or Vasoline inside the temporary and pop it back on. This should get you by until Monday. You don't want to go without it or teeth will start to shift and gum tissues will start to move in places they shouldn't be.
Reply:that happened to me and I was advised to put it back on the tooth. Surprisingly, it went back on and stayed on until I was able to get to the dentist.
Reply:You can get temporary dental cement at WalMart or any drug store. Make sure you get the crown on pronto.
Reply:Try putting it back on and gently bite on it in order to push it in the place. It would be great,if you can keep it in as much as you can.Don't chew with it.Be carefull, don't swallow it.You can use a chewing gam as a glue.I am not sure if they have dental temporary cement at the drug stores. You can also look that up in order to glue it back on.If not your tooth will have a room to shift. If that happens, your permanent crown may not fit. Then there will be a new impressions taken. So try to keep it in there without swallowing it.
Reply:yes, it is fine, just keep it clean.
