My dental insurance doesn't cover crowns. Is it acceptable to pay for them with credit cards?

You'll have to ask your particular dentist. Are you absolutely positive your insurance won't cover at least partial payment? If you really need the crown for dental health reasons and not just for cosmetics, most dental plans will cover at least a part of it, as long as your dentist submits the correct diagnostic codes.

Yes, some dentists accept Visa
Reply:of course, as long as your dentist takes CC's and I am pretty sure most dentists do these days. Get those frequent flyer miles, or points whenevery u can. I pay my dentist up front with visa and insurance pays me the part that they would normally cover so and everyone is happy.
