How much are crowns in dental?

does anyone know how much crowns are ? i live in california

How much are crowns in dental?
I worked for a cosmetic dentist in san diego. It is a traditional crown with no build up or post we charged $950. If it required a build up it was an additional $175 and a post was an additional $330. But if you find a local dental school, there prices are half of a regular dentist. California is a little more anyways, just like everything else there! The dentist should be able to give you a close to exact estimate. Insurance will usually cover 50% if you have any.
Reply:I would like to know as well. I would love to create a fund so that I can get a beautiful smile. ANY DONORS?
Reply:Around here, (Ma.), they range from $800 to $1,200.
Reply:THIS VARIES ON THE TYPE OF CROWN IT IS, ON WHERE THE DENTIST WORKS WHO MAKES IT AND WHETHER YOU HAVE INSURANCE.

PRICES CAN BE FROM $495-$1,100.
Reply:depends on your specific locality (Berverly Hills? Higher) and type of practice (general dentist or specialist)?
Reply:About $300 with insurance, and more like $800 without
